Privacy notice

What happens to the details you send us.

This notice covers enquiries submitted through the website and the email notifications used to help us respond.

Who handles your information

Saunders Simmons Ltd trading as Let My Commercial is responsible for the personal information submitted through this website. Its registered office is Unit 1–2, 15 Oxford Road, Pen Mill Trading Estate, Yeovil, Somerset BA21 5HR. Company number: 15839557. ICO registration: ZB805139. Privacy questions can be submitted using the contact form.

Information collected

Depending on the form, we collect your name, email address, telephone number, relationship to the property, property type, location or postcode, an optional link to an existing advert, and the notes or message you provide. When someone arrives through an advertising link, the enquiry may also include the campaign source, search term and Google click identifiers supplied in that link. We receive basic technical information needed to serve and protect the website, such as the originating IP address in transient server logs.

Please do not put special-category personal data, payment-card details, confidential tenant information or identity documents into an enquiry form.

Why it is used

We use the information to reply to you, provide a free advert check when requested, decide whether we can help with the property, keep a record of the conversation, prevent form abuse and take steps you request before a possible contract.

How it is stored

Form submissions are validated on the server and sent to our business inbox using Resend, our transactional email provider. The live website only shows a successful confirmation after Resend has accepted the notification for delivery. If it cannot be delivered, the form shows an error and keeps the details on screen so you can try again or telephone us.

A successful enquiry confirms that your message has been accepted for delivery to our business inbox. It does not start advertising or give permission to publish property information.

Sharing

We don’t sell enquiry data. Vercel hosts the website and Resend delivers enquiry notifications, so those providers may process the details entered into the form. We will only share property details and photographs with advertising channels after a separate booking and approval process. Sending a website enquiry isn’t permission to publish them.

Retention

We keep enquiry information for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is needed for a contract, dispute, fraud prevention or legal obligation. Information that is no longer needed is then securely deleted.

Your choices and rights

You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, object to or restrict some uses, and raise a concern about how it is handled. Use the contact form and identify the enquiry where possible. You may also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Advertising measurement and cookies

When Google Ads measurement is configured, the website asks for permission before loading the Google advertising tag. If you agree, Google may store or read advertising information on your device and receive the page, advert click and successful callback-conversion information needed to measure whether an advert worked. We configure advertising personalisation as denied.

You can choose “No thanks” and still use every page, telephone link and form. Your choice is remembered in an essential first-party cookie for up to six months. Use “Cookie choices” in the footer to reconsider it. Enquiry records are not stored in browser localStorage.

Click identifiers and campaign parameters submitted with a callback request are kept with the enquiry so that we can distinguish advertising leads from other enquiries and later record whether the lead became a customer. Google’s own use of information is covered by its policies and consent requirements.
